Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Used clippers, trimmers, opened blades, and opened grooming products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
What if my product arrives faulty or damaged?
Report any fault or damage within 48 hours of receipt by emailing barberarchivesupply@gmail.com or calling 081 005 7663. Under the South African Consumer Protection Act, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund. Return shipping is covered by us for faulty or incorrect items.
Who pays for return shipping?
If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product, we cover return shipping. For change-of-mind returns (within 7 days, unused and unopened), the customer covers return shipping costs.
How long does a refund take?
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri). Once dispatched, delivery across South Africa typically takes 2–7 business days via courier.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes — tracking details are sent to your email once your order has been dispatched.
What if my parcel is missing or arrives damaged?

Are your products genuine?
Yes. All products sold at Barber Archive Supply are sourced from authorised distributors and are 100% authentic. We do not sell grey-market or counterfeit goods.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Warranty terms vary by brand and product. Any manufacturer warranty included with the product applies from the date of purchase. For warranty claims, contact us with your proof of purchase and we will assist.

How often should I replace clipper blades?
For professional daily use, blades typically need replacing or sharpening every 3–6 months. For home use, blades can last considerably longer. Signs it's time to replace: pulling hair, uneven cutting, or visible blade wear.
Can I use the same guards across different clipper brands?
Guards and attachments are generally brand- and model-specific. We recommend using guards designed for your specific clipper model to ensure proper fit and cutting performance. Check the product listing or contact us if you are unsure.
Is my clipper corded, cordless, or both?
This varies by model. Each product listing specifies whether the clipper is corded-only, cordless-only, or dual-mode (corded & cordless). Check the product page for your specific model.
How do I charge my cordless clipper?
Use only the charging cable or dock supplied with your clipper. Avoid third-party chargers as they may damage the battery. Charge times and battery life are listed on each product page.
How do I care for my clipper blades?
After each use: brush out hair clippings, apply a few drops of clipper oil to the blade, and wipe away excess. Store clippers in a dry environment. Regular oiling extends blade life and maintains cutting performance.
